[Anaerobic asporogenous infection in patients with postoperative empyema]
Abstract:
The results of treatment of 38 patients with postoperative pleural empyema caused by anaerobic asporogenous infection were summarized. The factors contributing to the development of anaerobic asporogenous infection, peculiarities of the clinical picture, diagnosis and treatment were revealed, the measures for prophylaxis were outlined. The clinical effectiveness was achieved in 92.1% of the patients with lethality of 2.6%.
