- Exercise oxygen flow titration based on NOTT guidelines or walking tests proved insufficient for adequate oxygenation during daily life activities.

- Standard titration methods like NOTT guidelines and walking tests are inadequate for prescribing exercise oxygen in very severe COPD.
- Constant work-rate tests, particularly those based on oxygen uptake or a simplified 40W protocol, provide more suitable oxygenation levels during activity.
- These findings suggest alternative, more effective methods for exercise oxygen titration in COPD patients.
