Abstract:
The International Conference on Systems Biology 2011 represented one of the so far largest conferences in the rapidly growing field of systems biology. The integration of quantitative experimental data and computational modeling is central in this field. This special issue contains a series of studies that conclude and finalise representative results presented at the ICSB that exploit the advantages of this interdisciplinary approach.
