Summary

Facial attractiveness ratings indicate that full-face views are preferred over profile views. Orthodontic treatment improved ratings, especially for Class II Division 1 malocclusions, with orthodontists being more sensitive to changes.

Purpose of the Study:

  • Photographic transparencies of 60 subjects (pre- and post-orthodontic treatment) representing three malocclusion classes were assessed.
