    Background:

    • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease impacting joints.
    • Limited research exists on the effects of vigorous exercise for individuals with RA.
    • Weight-bearing exercise is suggested to be beneficial for arthritis management.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the effects of a 16-week dance-based aerobic exercise program combined with problem-solving discussions on individuals with RA.
    • To assess the program's impact on disease activity, pain, physical function, and quality of life.

    Main Methods:

    • Forty-three participants with RA engaged in a 16-week program, meeting twice weekly.
    • Each session included 1 hour of exercise (warm-ups, dance aerobics, mat work) and 1 hour of problem-solving discussion (EDUCIZE).
