Obovatol, a natural compound, improved memory in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease by reducing beta-amyloid peptide (Aβ) accumulation and stabilizing cholinergic neurotransmission. This suggests obovatol may help prevent Alzheimer's disease progression.
