Two novel metal-organic coordination compounds involving 4-mercaptopyridine and silver(I)/cadmium(II) were synthesized and characterized using spectroscopic methods. Spectroscopic analysis revealed key vibrational changes indicating successful coordination and structural alterations in the metal complexes.
