Abstract:
The nurse-patient relationship constitutes a major part of nursing practice. Conceptualised in numerous works aimed at professionals as well as students and incorporated by nurses as a fundamental basis of their professional practice, it seems to suffer from a failure to consider it on the basis of real nursing practice conditions. There are, however, several avenues to explore to encourage discussion on this point.
