Abstract:
The authors discuss a case of thoracic-lumbar arachnoidal cyst, which was not diagnosed for a long period, despite an obvious presentation with back pain and sphincteral problems. The importance of new diagnostic techniques, such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is underlined.
