Extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL)-producing Enterobacteriaceae are prevalent in Cameroon, with a carriage rate of 55.3% in hospitalized patients. CTX-M-15 was the predominant ESBL type identified, highlighting the need for surveillance in African nations.
