Summary

Systemic ascorbic acid (vitamin C) supplementation did not significantly reduce corneal haze after laser-assisted subepithelial keratectomy (LASEK) when used with mitomycin-C. The addition of oral vitamin C showed no additional benefit in preventing haze formation post-surgery.
