Patients with Multiple Sclerosis (S.M.) may experience fasting hypoglycemia due to impaired counter-regulatory mechanisms. These neurovegetative changes, possibly linked to orthosympathetic dysfunction, affect glucose homeostasis but do not lead to coma.
