Ceftriaxone monotherapy for bacterial meningitis in children

Ceftriaxone (CTR) effectively treated bacterial meningitis in children, achieving sterile cerebrospinal fluid cultures and high drug levels. While side effects occurred, CTR is a safe and effective option for daily pediatric meningitis treatment.
