  • Echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were performed for further cardiac evaluation.
  • These advanced imaging techniques confirmed the presence of endomyocardial fibrosis.
  • Endomyocardial fibrosis is a form of restrictive cardiomyopathy characterized by fibrosis of the subendocardial layer.

Implications:
