Summary

Implicit learning of auditory temporal patterns occurs even without explicit sequence rules. This study shows temporal pattern learning is sensitive to task demands and rhythm properties.

  • To investigate implicit learning of auditory temporal patterns.
  • To determine if task type (stimulus detection vs. forced-choice) affects temporal IL.
  • To examine if metrical properties enhance temporal IL.
