[Virological diagnosis of enteroviral diseases]

68 human enteroviruses are responsible for many acute viral diseases. An economic diagnostic procedure is discussed and documented by the author's own findings. Virus isolation is regarded as the method of choice, for epidemiological reasons and in view of the fact that enteroviruses are often isolated within a few days.
