In this, the second of two related articles, the author presents ethical guidelines that apply to the older adult, the family and health care members in a geriatric setting. He proposes six possible ethical solutions for dealing with geriatric shouting. Two ways to alter the perception that health professionals evade or ignore the problem are discussed.
