Summary

A new paper-based microfluidic assay enables rapid, visual measurement of liver enzymes aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) from a fingerstick blood sample. This low-cost diagnostic tool can significantly improve drug-induced liver injury monitoring in resource-limited settings.
