Value of routine voiding cystourethrography after renal transplantation

Early vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is common in kidney transplant recipients but does not significantly impact long-term graft survival or lead to urinary tract infections. A temporary dip in kidney function at one year was observed but resolved over time.
