Summary

Four novel D-π-A organic dyes featuring a thienyl-diketopyrrolopyrrole bridge were synthesized for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The best dye achieved a 5.03% power conversion efficiency in liquid electrolyte devices.
