Abstract:
As part of the ongoing pursuit of many of the professional organizations that promote compounding pharmacy as a reputable, worthy, and necessary profession in the field of medicine, The MEDISCA Group of Companies have founded the Student Pharmacist Compounding Competition. This event provides pharmacy students with a forum for expression to the compounding pharmacy practice community and encourages them to step forward and become leaders on the initiative to bring forth excellence and expertise to this field. Many honorable guests and keynote speakers participated in this event as a gesture of how important these compounding pioneers are to compounding pharmacy. This article summarizes the 2012 Student Pharmacist Compounding Competition.
