Antioxidants for chronic kidney disease.

Antioxidant therapy shows no clear overall benefit for cardiovascular or all-cause mortality in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. However, it may reduce cardiovascular events in dialysis patients and slow progression to end-stage kidney disease (ESKD).
