Giardia diagnostic methods in human fecal samples: a comparative study

Direct microscopy is a reliable first choice for Giardia detection. Direct immunofluorescence assay (DIF) is excellent for suspected cases, while flow cytometry (FC) offers speed for large studies but needs improvement.
