Hyper prolinuria and hyper-hydroxy prolinuria in children with mental retardation

This study screened 3,000 individuals with mental retardation for amino acid disorders. Two rare cases, hyperprolinuria and hyperprolinuria with hyperhydroxyprolinuria, were identified in Andhra Pradesh.
