Infants exposed to buprenorphine in utero showed better neurobehavioral outcomes and fewer withdrawal signs compared to those exposed to methadone. This suggests buprenorphine may offer superior infant neurobehavioral development in Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) treatment.
