To evaluate the efficacy of Laser Assisted Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (LAUP) for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

195 patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome underwent LAUP over seven years.
The procedure involves trimming and reshaping of the uvula and palate.
