Abstract:
A well-documented percutaneous method in the treatment of fracture dislocations of the PIP joint, the force couple splint technique according to Agee produces good functional results in these rare injuries. This paper presents our own modification with mass-produced preconstructed couple splints, which can be combined precisely with the elements of a mini-external fixation system.
