Strategies for setting and implementing the National Center for Nursing Research priorities

This paper describes the development of the National Nursing Research Agenda (NNRA) of The National Center for Nursing Research (NCNR), a concentrated and long-range effort to set priorities for nursing research. The NNRA process, the contextual characteristics under which the NNRA is carried out, and the strategies for setting and implementing the priorities are discussed.
