Familial intracranial aneurysms: is anatomic vulnerability heritable?

Family members with intracranial aneurysms (IAs) show a higher tendency for aneurysms in similar locations. This suggests a genetic predisposition to specific anatomical vulnerabilities, influencing IA formation and location.
