Background:

Pachydermodactyly (PDD) is a rare, benign condition causing painless swelling of finger soft tissues.
Characterized by increased dermal collagen, it predominantly affects young males.

Observation:

Three new cases of PDD in Taiwan are reported, including two females.
Clinical presentation included painless fusiform swelling around proximal interphalangeal joints.
Radiological and laboratory findings were largely unremarkable, showing only soft tissue swelling.

Findings:

The cases align with PDD's known characteristics, despite variations in patient demographics.
Histopathology consistent with increased dermal collagen accumulation.
No specific treatment was required, with a benign long-term outcome observed.
