Abstract:
Substantial development has been made in the field of antithrombotic therapy of heart diseases during the last two years. The "gold constant" combination of heparin, coumadin, aspirin and clopidogrel has been started to be questioned. All of the traditional drugs have or will have new classmates in the near future. New drugs have become available with new targets, new way of action with theoretical as well as practical advantages.
