[Complications and mistakes of the intramedullary blocking ostheosynthesis]

The aim of the study was to reveal the reasons of complications and mistakes of the blocking intramedullary core ostheosynthesis of the long limb bones. 89 operations were performed in 86 patients, aged 18-78 years. The follow-up results were obtained in 79 patients. Satisfactory and excellent results were registered in 72 (94.7%) patients. 4 (5.3%) patients showed the inconsistency of the ostheosynthesis. They received the additional reconstructive operation. The early performance of the revisional intervention permits avoiding severe complications of the blocking intramedullary core ostheosynthesis.
