Summary
Wildlife contraception in zoos has shifted from melengestrol acetate (MGA) to GnRH agonist implants (Suprelorin®). Current recommendations pair Suprelorin® with megestrol acetate (MA) to prevent uterine pathology in wild felids and canids.

Background:
