Abstract:
The values of serum aspartate transaminase SGOT and serum alanine transaminase SGPT were observed to elevate in pigeons experimentally infected with Heterophyes heterophyes. Histopathologically the liver showed congestion, fatty infiltration and periportal round cell infiltration. Kupffer cells showed proliferation.
