Abstract:
More changes have occurred in the last 10 years in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma than occurred in the previous 100 years. Emphasis in diagnosis and follow-up has shifted from measurement of the intraocular pressure to detection and assessment of damage to the optic nerve, objectively and subjectively.
