Rapid sinusoidal exercise may help chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients overcome ventilatory limitations during high-intensity training. This approach, unlike slow sinusoidal exercise, minimizes ventilation fluctuations, suggesting its potential for COPD rehabilitation programs.
