Doxofylline and theophylline: a comparative clinical study

Doxofylline does not offer significant advantages over theophylline for treating Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) regarding efficacy or safety. Both medications showed comparable results in spirometric variables, symptom scores, and adverse effects in clinical practice.
