Acetate-free biofiltration reduces intradialytic hypotension: a European multicenter randomized controlled trial

Acetate-free biofiltration (AFB) significantly reduces intradialytic hypotension (IH) and lowers systolic blood pressure (SBP) compared to bicarbonate hemodialysis (BD) over three years. Cardiovascular outcomes remained similar between the two dialysis methods.
