Abstract:
In 2011, after an undesirable medication-related event in a nursing home in Isère, the caregivers and doctors had to analyse its immediate and underlying causes. As a consequence, areas for improvement from an organisational and material point of view were identified. The professionals then undertook a more global approach of prior risk management, mapping these risks in relation to the medication's circuit through the whole establishment.
