Summary

Preventive medical check-ups for early identification of language and literacy learning risks in school beginners are crucial. New HASE screening norms for 4-year-olds, based on 3,354 children, now provide better risk assessment for this age group.

Preventive medical examinations for school beginners are conducted up to two years prior to enrollment.

Norms for the HASE screening tool were recalculated for children aged 4;0-4;5 years, based on data from 3,354 participants.
