Dental hygiene training programs significantly improve students' knowledge and confidence in treating patients with HIV/AIDS. This education enhances their familiarity with and belief in the efficacy of Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).

  • To evaluate shifts in self-perceived knowledge and confidence regarding Universal Precautions and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP).
  • To determine the impact of the training on preparing future dental hygienists for patient care.
