Summary

Methamphetamine (METH) abusers exhibit persistent oxidative stress during early abstinence, with compromised superoxide dismutase (SOD) and elevated catalase (CAT) and glutathione (GSH) levels. These markers did not normalize after two weeks of continued abstinence.
