Summary

Cell-derived microparticles, implicated in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), were investigated for neuropsychiatric SLE (NPSLE). Monocyte-derived microparticles were reduced in active NPSLE, correlating with disease activity and corticosteroid use.
