Summary

Negative pressure therapy accelerates bone healing by promoting new bone formation and increasing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and bone morphogenetic protein (BMP)-2 expression. This study demonstrates its potential to reduce bone healing time in orthopedic applications.
