Liver angulometry: a simple method to estimate liver volume and ratios

Angulometry, a new liver measurement technique, accurately estimates liver volume ratios using CT scans. This simple method aids surgeons in planning liver resections and predicting future liver remnant volume.

- This technique can assist clinicians in pre-operative planning for right or extended right hepatectomy and post-portal vein occlusion procedures.
