Pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and flow-volume loops show varied patterns in tracheobronchomalacia (TBM). Many patients with moderate to severe TBM have normal PFTs and flow-volume loops, indicating these tests are not definitive for TBM diagnosis.

- Further diagnostic approaches may be necessary for TBM evaluation.
