Association between increased FVIIa-antithrombin complex/FVIIa ratio and pre-eclampsia

Activated factor VII-antithrombin (FVIIa-AT) complexes are elevated in normal pregnancy compared to non-pregnant women. The FVIIa-AT/FVIIa ratio is notably higher in pre-eclampsia (PE) patients than in normal pregnancy.
