Background:

Telangiectasias are commonly treated vascular malformations.
Existing classifications lack a unified pathophysiological basis.
A novel classification system for telangiectasias is proposed.

Purpose of the Study:

To introduce a new classification of telangiectasias based on histological and pathophysiological characteristics.
To present the Authors' Multi-Therapy Treatment Protocol (MTT) for managing different types of telangiectasias.
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of the MTT Protocol.

Telangiectasias classified into Type A (reflux-related), Type B (>0.2 mm, clustered), and Type C (≤0.2 mm, isolated).
MTT Protocol involves sequential treatments: conventional sclerotherapy for Type A, polidocanol foam with START technique for Type B, and mesoglycan with LIDS technique for Type C.
The protocol was applied to 63 patients (125 limbs) with a 12-month follow-up.
