Summary

A rare case of isolated diffuse episcleral neurofibroma, a type of epibulbar tumor, was identified in a patient. This finding expands the differential diagnosis for eye lesions, recommending a conservative approach for slow-growing tumors.

Area of Science:

  • Ophthalmology
  • Oncology

Background:

  • Epibulbar tumors present a diagnostic challenge.
  • Neurofibromas are rare orbital tumors.
