Chemotherapy during the second or third trimester showed no severe adverse effects. Recurrence occurred at a mean of 18.8 months, with a 31.3% mortality rate in those under 35.

- Advanced stage and lymph node positivity are stronger predictors of relapse and mortality than age in young pregnant women with breast cancer.
